I'd just like to let everybody know that this isn't an attack on any one person or people, it's an attack on language itself. If that wasn't obvious, then I have failed.
I must admit, I was hesitant to submit this comic, but I'm not sure why. Anyway, thank you for reading.

Edit: I've updated this comic, because I wasn't happy at all with the finishing line that it had, and I think it's going to be a lot better now. The original version of this comic is here.

Haha. That face in the last panel. :D

That poster /really/ gets me, haha.
Now that you have brought me back to this one...
I am guilty of the same thing sometimes but I try to use the word page even if it is not accurate.
The word strip annoys the hell out of me for some reason and I avoid it even if I have to defy language itself.
Going as far as episode or part if I have to!

Would you go so far as to define the word strip as... "uncool"?

Eh, it is the proper word and everything. I just... dunno. I do not like it when people call comic pages strips :D
But it is the norm and stuff.
Pssh! Now a stripper is a whole other story ;)
I was sleuthing. The word and the way it sounds bothers me too.
Ed, do you have a set of words you just do not like? People do. Something that makes you want to punch the person LMAO or the words just annoy you.

Strip related to comics is one such word for me, haha.
Dunno why I do not like when people call their page like that.
However, again, it is fine because it is legit. I just do not like it.

Another one is "smerník". The word "pointer" many programmers here translate as "smerník" and it annoys me. Technically, it is correct but I just do not like how the word sounds. That is why I use and like when I hear or read "ukazateľ".
But then...
point to -> ukazovať na
direction -> smer
So "smerník" is not really correct anyway. Mm.

There are a few more words in Slovak or English.
I have a very complex, very hard to explain, very hard to justify to other people (even though it's not even slightly malignant) view on certain words and tropes. It's about a kind of "emotion" caused by what comes from media and internet-people. I'll have to explain this later, through an email.
I think I know what you mean so... let me know then :D
